Our activities

From the first day of the war, the Fund’s team has been providing comprehensive assistance to Ukrainians affected by the war – by providing them with food, medicines, hygienic supplies and informing about latest information necessary for internally displaced people.

The Fund also organizes the supply of veterinary medicines and equipment to support the activities of farms affected by the war. Stable work of farms in wartime is a guarantee of food security and rapid recovery of the country.

March 26 3,260 units of medical supplies for surgical operations, diagnostics and resuscitation were delivered by our team at the request of the Uman City Central Hospital. We thank our regular partners DAWN Inc and Nova Ukraine for their cooperation.

January 18 In cooperation with our partners Stichting Vluchteling, we have provided emergency power outage kits for 2,555 families in two communities. Each kit consists of a thermos, a power bank, a powerful flashlight and a set of candles and will help Ukrainians prepare for the winter period.

April 6 Tactical medicine equipment that will save the lives of our defenders was distributed by the SaveUA Fund team to one of the Armed Forces units with the support of Ukrainian volunteer Yulia Brockford and the DAWN organization. Laryngeal masks that help to maintain breathing when a person has a neck or head injury, first aid kits, bandages, knee pads, weight bearing vests, surgical sutures and plasters, medicines - the most necessary things for those who defend our country.

March 28 Our foundation has become a partner of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in the framework of the Organization's response program for Ukraine for 2023, which aims to support the most affected rural households to meet their families' food and nutrition needs. As of today, the SaveUA team, with the support of FAO, has already started distributing the seeds to farmers in Chernihiv and Sumy regions. Under this program, FAO will provide assistance to 3,000 smallholder farmers in nine regions of Ukraine. Each recipient will receive 2,000 kilograms of spring crop seeds, which will allow them to sow 10 hectares of land.

February 9 SaveUA and the Ukrainian Agri Council deliver 13.5 tons of vegetable seeds to households in the de-occupied territories: Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Kharkiv, Donetsk, and Chernihiv regions. February 7 Due to the power grids destroyed by the Russian military, villages in the Kherson region have no electricity or water supply. The team of our SAVE UA Charity Fund, in cooperation with the Kherson is Ukraine Charitable Foundation, delivered a 48 kW generator to the Dariivka community in Kherson region. It will provide centralized water supply for 1035 residents in the village of Ingulets. We thank our Dutch partners for their help. We continue to support Ukrainians in the liberated territories.

January 31 64 dairy farms in the Kharkiv region received humanitarian aid from Switzerland, which includes the necessary equipment to ensure hygiene in milk production. The goal of the Swiss humanitarian initiative is to provide food security in general and in particular by improving access for the population of Ukraine to quality and safe milk and dairy products produced in Ukraine. The project was implemented at the request of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine in cooperation with the Association of Milk Producers (AMP), the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection, and the international Charity Fund SAVE UA, under the coordination of the Embassy of Switzerland in Ukraine.

January 26 The SAVE UA team has delivered some important medical equipment to the Sinelnikov Central City Hospital in Dnipropetrovsk region. We are talking on two electrosurgical generators and an operating lamp for a surgeon, which will help reduce the time of surgery and avoid significant blood loss. We really want this expensive medical equipment to help doctors save as many patients as possible. January 24 Andrii Dykun, the Head of the SAVE UA Charity Fund and the Ukrainian Agri Council, met with Norbert Lins, the Chair of the European Parliament's Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development. The parties discussed providing assistance with equipment for the fastest possible demining of the territories so that farmers can safely go to the fields during the sowing season, and the creation of an international fund to provide guarantees to commercial banks so that farmers from the de-occupied territories can take out loans to rebuild farms destroyed by Russians, destroyed or stolen equipment, and restore livestock.

January 18 The SAVE UA team delivered an additional batch of 5000 filters to the Kherson and Mykolaiv communities so that residents could consume purified water. The system allows purifying water from rivers and other natural sources, getting up to 2 liters of clean water per hour. This is significant where people live without water supply for months because of the russian invaders. January 9 We have delivered medical aid to the Kherson Regional Oncology Center. This is 15 657 units of essential medical devices and medicines. The medical center worked all the months of occupation, doctors saved the lives of locals despite the intimidation of Russians and shelling. The occupants took away almost all the equipment and medicines. To help doctors continue to save the lives of Kherson residents, SAVE UA Foundation sent a medical humanitarian aid.
