Food security in the first days of the war

SaveUA and Ukrainian Agri Council (UAC) delivered 6,700 tons of grain to the regions for baking bread.

In the first days of the war, SaveUA together with the members of agrarian Association UAC, provided Kyiv with grain for baking bread by delivering 5,000 tons of grain. There was serious problem of food supply in the capital due to mass attacks by russian troops.

The rest of grain was delivered to regions as there were no food because of the problems with logistics chains, stoppage of food enterprises in a number of unsafe regions, as well as the influx of a large number of internally displaced people.
