Sloviansk is one of the towns that suffers from enemy shelling on a daily basis. Thousands of people remain under fire and all of them need humanitarian assistance. Drivers risking their own safety go on a humanitarian truck trip in order to deliver food to them. Each of them has children and wife, but they are sure that all have their own front in this war and theirs is - the road.
We often read comments "Why don't people leave dangerous areas?". We answer to all at once using the example of one person.
We received a message on our Instagram page from Svitlana this weekend. She is a resident of Sloviansk who cannot leave it because of her elderly mother. The woman is 42 years old. Before the war she worked in a shop. Now she saves her family, helps neighbours, friends and people she knows who are in the same situation. She asks not to mention her surname and not to show her photos, because she is afraid. And for the sake of such people as Svitlana drivers go to dangerous places and workers of our humanitarian headquarters forget to sleep.
We have collected 500 kg of long-term storage products and deliver it to the residents of Sloviansk.
