The SaveUA Charity Foundation is assisting the USAID Harvest Activity in providing farmers with grain sleeves for the 2024-2025 season.
Under the grant agreement, our foundation will organize the distribution of 7 000 polymeric grain sleeves to farmers in 9 frontline regions of Ukraine, as well as disseminate innovative knowledge and approaches to grain storage, and monitor the distribution.
"The goal is to provide logistical, service, and expert support to micro small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), as well as further post-monitoring and reporting on the distributed grain sleeves. This is an important support, as the grain sleeves will help farmers to save their harvest from enemy shelling and will also contribute to ensuring domestic food security in these regions,” comments Vitaliy Nakonechnyi, the Head of the SaveUA Foundation.
The ultimate goal of the grant program is to increase agricultural productivity, strengthen food security and promote sustainable agricultural practices in Ukraine.
