Andrii Dykun met in London with the Board of Directors of the Rapid Relief Team UK

The founder of the SaveUA charity foundation Andrii Dykun met in London with the Board of Directors of the Rapid Relief Team UK. Our cooperation began in December 2022 and has made it possible to support almost a million Ukrainians with basic food.

“This December will mark exactly two years of our cooperation. During this time, thanks to the support of the Rapid Relief Team, SaveUA has distributed more than 241,909 food boxes, providing 967,636 internally displaced persons and residents of the frontline areas with food. This is an extremely important support for Ukrainians, as, unfortunately, the number of victims is increasing due to the hostilities. People are losing their homes, jobs, and the financial ability to cover even basic food needs. That's why we are sincerely grateful to our partners for their continuous assistance and our effective cooperation,” said Andrii Dykun.

The head of the foundation also thanked the Rapid Relief Team (RRT) for the opportunity to pack the food boxes with products from Ukrainian producers and organize the production process in Ukraine. In this way, we support Ukrainian producers and save their jobs, as well as have the opportunity to involve internally displaced persons who are temporarily staying in the city of Uman, Cherkasy region, in the packaging of the sets, providing them with work.

In their turn, members of the Rapid Relief Team's Board of Directors Sam Blackledge, Ben Napthine and Ted Soulsby expressed their intention to continue supporting Ukrainians together with the Save UA Foundation, with a view to the difficult situation in the frontline areas and the large number of internally displaced persons.

According to Ben Napthine, the assistance to Ukrainians has been made possible thanks to generous donations from people around the world and the British themselves.

“RRT volunteers in the UK, Germany, France, Sweden and the Netherlands have been working together since the first months of the war in Ukraine to provide emergency assistance to the affected Ukrainians. Together we have done quite a lot and we are pleased that our team has been able to support people in such difficult circumstances,” summarized Ben Napthine on behalf of the RRT Board of Directors.

We are grateful to our partners and continue our humanitarian mission in the regions.
