On December 19, 2022, the international charity foundation SaveUA and the public union Ukrainian Agri Council ("UAC") started cooperation with the Rapid Relief Team.
The Rapid Relief Team was by the Plymouth Brethren Christian Church (PBCC) in 2013 and offers quality catering assistance and tangible support to charities, government and emergency services confronting some of humankind’s greatest challenges.
The implementation period of the first part of the project is January-April 2023.
With the support of the Rapid Relief Team (RRT), the foundation's team distributed 29800 food sets, providing 89400 internally displaced persons and residents of the frontline areas with food.
The assistance was provided to residents of Cherkasy, Kherson, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Sumy, Donetsk, Chernihiv and Mykolaiv regions.
It is worth noting that the humanitarian food parcels consist of products from national producers. In this way, we support Ukrainian farmers and save jobs in this extremely difficult period.
Another feature of our cooperation with Rapid Relief Team is that the entire production process is organized in Ukraine. This means that we can involve internally displaced persons who have left their homes and are temporarily staying in Uman in the process of packing, providing them with jobs.
We invite donors to support Ukrainians in need of permanent assistance. Anyone can join the fundraising by following this link: https://saveua.in.ua/en/payment
In total, during the first year of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the SaveUA team fed more than 1,950,000 Ukrainians and provided more than 8,000 tons of humanitarian aid.
We continue to help.
