Results of the SaveUA Foundation's work in 2024

Dear friends, we are summarizing the results of 2024 and sharing with you the achievements of the SaveUA Foundation team with the support of our regular partners and friends of Ukraine from the UK, USA, the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Finland, and Switzerland. 

We continue to help IDP families from the frontline and de-occupied territories who are in a difficult situation due to Russian aggression, and the main activities of the foundation remain: providing food boxes, medical support to medical institutions, supporting the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, as well as small and medium-sized farmers so that they can continue to work and support their communities and Ukraine. 

This year we have provided:

• 100240 food boxes, providing essential food to more than 300 000 people in the frontline and de-occupied territories;
• 5000 water purification filters for residents of Kharkiv region;
• 999 10-liter Katadyn water filters for residents of Mykolaiv region;
   
• 17868 units of medical supplies and medicines for regional hospitals to enable doctors to save patients;
• about 1000 units of comfortable work clothes for medical staff; 
• 19 specialized medical beds with mattresses for seriously ill patients in neurological and trauma departments;
• a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter ambulance for the Uman Central City Hospital, which can be used not only for transportation to medical facilities but also for resuscitation; 
• contributed to the transfer of 67 units of medical furniture and 27 multifunctional beds at the request of hospitals in Cherkasy region to provide patients with the necessary rehabilitation;
• 590 baby hygiene kits for 464 families in several communities in Kherson Oblast;
• 528 packages of diapers for premature babies for the Cherkasy Oblast Children's Hospital;
• 607 new orthopedic mattresses for children in the city of Uman; 
• 600 hair combs for IDPs in Mykolaiv region;
• 800 pairs of socks for IDPs in Mykolaiv region;
• 400 body warmers for IDPs in Mykolaiv region;
• a school bus with 35 seats for Uman and the Uman community;
   
• 870 tons of fuel briquettes for 544 households in Kherson region, with 1.5-2 tons of briquettes per household;
• emergency kits for 2555 residents and IDPs of two communities in Kherson region . Each kit consists of a thermos, a power bank, a powerful flashlight and a set of candles. 

• 23 special vehicles for the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, for brigades in the frontline and de-occupied regions engaged in humanitarian demining;
• 25 sets of the latest tools and equipment to equip special vehicles for rescuers of the SES of Ukraine;
   
• Together with the NGO “Unbreakable Warrior Spirit” and the Municipal Enterprise “Center for Development and Investment” of the Uman City Council received a grant of UAH 182,000 to implement the project “Recovery Camp for Combat Veterans, Veterans with Disabilities, Family Members of the Deceased of the Uman Community”. We provided veterans and their families with the opportunity to restore their physical and mental health, as well as receive the necessary professional assistance;

 

Together with our parent organization, the Association of Milk Producers , in cooperation with the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), for small and medium-sized farms and agricultural producers as an implementing partner, we provided 

• 492 tons of soybean seeds for 379 farms in Chernihiv region and 492 tons of soybean seeds for 492 farms in Sumy region;
• 300 tons of wheat for 150 farms in Chernihiv region and 242 tons of wheat for 121 farms in Sumy region;
   

Together with our parent organization, the Association of Milk Producers, in cooperation with the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection, under the coordination of the Embassy of Switzerland in Ukraine, as an implementing partner, we provided 

• 202 dairy farms in Dnipro, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson and Chernihiv regions, products for washing and disinfecting milking equipment, pre- and post-milking udder treatment, udder hygiene wipes, gloves, reagents for detecting hidden forms of mastitis, disinfectants for livestock premises;

The distinction of our work this year was the receipt of the highly important ED Certificate from NGOsource, which certifies that our foundation is a reliable partner that has passed the financial monitoring procedure in accordance with the requirements for charitable organizations adopted in the United States.
 

SaveUA Foundation was also included in the Forbes Top 50 Charities in Ukraine rating, as our team has implemented not only large humanitarian projects. In cooperation with the members of the Ukrainian Agri Council and with their support, we have jointly donated more than 2250 vehicles to our defenders.
